Hamani Fisher, a native of Queens, New York, has been proud to call Huntersville his home since 2005. Hamani Fisher, a pastor at Life Center International, is running in District 1, the seat being vacated by long-time board member Rhonda Cheek. Fisher is one of many faith leaders who have concerns about student outcomes in CMS. He says he’s running to bring confidence, accountability, and transparency to CMS. “Children, families, as well as our community are feeling the impact of a school system that is hemorrhaging right now and failing our students,” Fisher says. I believe Kevrick McKain and Hamani Fisher have served well their faith, their state, and their nation. I have been tremendously encouraged by their grounded insight on the issues facing our communities, schools, and state. The work Kevrick is doing with the Douglas Leadership Institute is truly impactful and transformative. I also endorse and support Hamani Fisher’s quest to serve with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School Board. Mecklenburg County will be significantly better off with Hamani serving as one of its School Board members.

From the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic I had a lot of unanswered questions and trepidations about much of what was being communicated to the public. It was not very long after being locked in, shut down, and bullied by governmental overreach that I was fully convinced we were being lied to and manipulated by the medical elite, federal and state government. It was not long after such that many informed citizens and organizations began to push back, speak out, and challenge the narrative. Court Grants Preliminary Approval for Health Care Workers in $10.3 Million Settlement (Liberty Counsel, September 13, 2022): “The federal Northern District Court of Illinois has granted preliminary approval and scheduled a fairness hearing regarding the class action settlement against NorthShore University HealthSystem on behalf of more than 500 current and former health care workers who were unlawfully discriminated against and denied religious exemptions from the COVID shot mandate. Liberty Counsel settled the nation’s first classwide lawsuit for health care workers over a COVID shot mandate, for more than $10.3 million. Federal Judge John F. Kness set the fairness hearing for December 19, 2022 in Jane Doe 1, et al. v. Northshore University Healthsystem. As a result of the settlement, NorthShore will pay $10,337,500 to compensate these health care employees who were victims of religious discrimination, and who were punished for their religious beliefs against taking an injection associated with aborted fetal cells. (The Epoch Times, September 13, 2022): “A study published in late August found that 345 people in England died of myocarditis in one year, all vaccinated with one of three COVID-19 vaccines. The study, conducted from December 2020 to December 2021, looked at deaths after a hospital stay for myocarditis or with myocarditis listed as a cause of death on a death certificate among 42.8 million vaccinated people in England age 13 and up. The publication of the study’s findings in the American Heart Association’s journal, Circulation, marked the first time in the medical literature that researchers have confirmed that myocarditis associated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines can result in death. (Liberty Counsel, September 8, 2022): “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) presented data at its Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meeting on September 1, 2022, that confirms the COVID shots are not safe for children. …In the V-safe data as of August 21, 2022, for children ages six months through five years, 8,541 received Pfizer shots and 14,725 received Moderna. In Kentucky in June, for example, 67 percent of the deaths were among the vaccinated, according to data obtained by The Epoch Times. (The College of Physicians of Philadelphia): “In October 1986, the U.S. Congress responded to the precarious situation in the vaccine market by passing the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA). The act included many regulations related to informed consent and adverse event reporting. For example, the act required that providers administering certain vaccines provide a Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) to the vaccine recipient or legal guardian. The VIS lists the risks and benefits of a particular vaccine. There continues to be some question of the accuracy of the reported VAERS numbers posted by the CDC. We are reading and hearing from outside sources of numerous deaths and injuries caused by the vaccines, but it does not seem to reflect in the CDC VAERS report. Is the true number of deaths and injuries being withheld from the public? I don’t trust the CDC, FDA, Big Pharma, NIH, WHO, nor the current political administration.  

During these last twenty-nine months of assault upon the people of the world, there have been many champions rising to the occasions. I have been tremendously encouraged by many in the medical, scientific, media and information arenas, church and ministry fields have stepped up to the occasions. Be strong in the power of His might, keep the faith and refuse to faint! I am reminded of a powerfully enlightening scripture, “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish stronghold. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (Second Corinthians 10:3-5 NIV).

We spend so much time examining the important issues, challenges, and battles set before us, that sometimes we forget to stop to give thanks for the victories. Our many prayers, hard work, and earnest commitment to educate and mobilize the public has shown some measurable results. Yes, we do have so much more work to do in turning America and North Carolina to common sense, but a moment of reflection is in order. 

I hope we do not make the mistake that the nine lepers made after Jesus healed them then sent them to see the high priest. “As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, ‘Jesus, Master, have pity on us!’ When he saw them, he said, ‘Go, show yourselves to the priest.’ And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, ‘Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?’” (Luke 17:12-18 NIV). 

A message from Bishop E.W. Jackson

For nearly 50 years, the U.S. Supreme Court’s scandalous ruling in Roe v. Wade has cost millions of unborn children’s lives. Friday’s ruling overturning Roe (1973), and its related case, Casey v. Planned Parenthood (1992), restores respect for life and the rule of law in America. It’s a long-awaited answer to prayer.

The community that has been hit the hardest by Roe v. Wade is, of course, the black community. Can we imagine where we would be if all of those black babies that have been aborted since 1973 would have been allowed to live and contribute to society like Dr. Ben Carson or Thomas Sowell or even Justice Clarence Thomas? Someone has estimated that the black population would be at 17% of America’s total instead of the 13% that it is now.

Margaret Sanger’s vision of destroying the lives of “defective stocks,” and “human weeds,” “that we want to exterminate the Negro population” has been raging for the last 50 years. Now we have an opportunity to see it curtailed and possibly even ended. Today is a day of celebration for all Americans, but especially the poor and minority people Sanger wanted to eliminate. Remarks: My dear brother and friend Bishop E.W. Jackson says it so very well in this posted article from June 2022. The Court’s decision moves this issue of abortion from the national spotlight to the states. Several states have already put additional restrictions on abortion. We have spent several of our programs addressing the horrors of abortion. I still find it hard to understand how something so horrific and so evil could have been permitted for fifty years. Only by the apathy of the people and the complicity of the church could this evil last so long. We must mobilize the states to end the genocide against the preborn, but we must also give prayerful attention to the countless mothers and father, women and men harmed by abortion. The church must provide compassionate care for those struggling with the trauma and choice of aborting their child. If more than sixty million children have been aborted since 1973, then over a hundred million women and men are working through the pains of their choice to do so. We have much work to do. (Liberty Counsel, June 27, 2022): “Today, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in favor of a high school football coach who was fired for silently praying on the field after games. Relying on both the First Amendment Free Speech and Free Exercise Clauses, the High Court ruled that the Bremerton School District violated both provisions when it fired Coach Joe Kennedy for having prayer on the 50-yard line of the football field after the game. In Kennedy v. Bremerton School District, in 2008, Bremerton High School football coach Joe Kennedy made a promise to God that he would pray and give thanks after each game he coached, regardless of the outcome. Coach Kennedy would simply drop to one knee and pray for 15-30 seconds on the 50-yard line at the end of games to “offer a silent or quiet prayer of thanksgiving for player safety, sportsmanship, and spirited competition.” Initially, Kennedy prayed quietly and alone. After several games, some students took notice and joined him. If students gathered, Kennedy began offering short motivational speeches to players, ending with a brief prayer. Sometimes no players gathered, and he prayed alone. He did this for seven years without any complaints by school officials. Then in 2015, the school district ordered Kennedy to stop, stating his practice violated the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution. Remarks: The Court’s decision in the case sends a strong message in defense of the First Amendment specifically as it relates to free speech and religious activity. It’s also important to note that the Court affirmed that just because Coach Kennedy’s actions may have offended some, he still had the right to do so. This is significant to all those who value the right to free speech. In a woke culture that feels entitled to cancel free speech just because it may not agree with it, this decision is a strong step in the right direction. (Dr. Leon Threatt)

Federal Judge Orders Protection for US Marines with Religious Objections to COVID Vaccine Mandate (CBN News, August 19, 2022): “A federal judge in Florida ordered class action relief and granted a classwide preliminary injunction Thursday against the federal government's COVID shot mandate for all U.S. Marines whether they are active or in reserve service. Liberty Counsel, a Christian religious rights law firm, sued Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and pursued this class action relief on behalf of all U.S. Marines who were denied religious accommodations from the COVID shots. Some religious objectors refuse the vaccines citing research and development that may have involved aborted fetal cells. U.S. District Court of Florida Judge Steven Merryday issued the following injunction against the Department of Defense and the U.S. Marine Corps: "The defendants are PRELIMINARILY ENJOINED (1) from enforcing against a member of the class any order, requirement, or rule to accept COVID-19 vaccination, (2) from separating or discharging from the Marine Corps a member of the class who declines COVID-19 vaccination, and (3) from retaliating against a member of the class for the member's asserting statutory rights under RFRA (Religious Freedom Restoration Act)." https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/national-security/2022/august/federal-judge-orders-protection-for-us-marines-with-religious-objections-to-covid-vaccine-mandate

Remarks: The blatant assault upon all service members by the Department of Defense, Commanding Officers, and the Biden Administration is criminal. Members in all branches of the service are being injured or killed by these forced vaccines. As of August 19, 2022, nearly 1.4 million COVID shot injuries have been logged in the VAERS system with most deaths from the shot being reported within 24-48 hours after taking the jab (OpenVAERS. Accessed August 29, 2022. Openvaers.com/covid-data). I believe we will look back on this vaccine assault against our military and citizens with such contempt and anger. I only hope we can end the carnage before innocent healthy young men and women are injured or killed. (Dr. Leon Threatt)

(The Washington Stand, August 29, 2022): “The Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Friday upheld a permanent injunction preventing the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) from enforcing a requirement that hospitals “perform gender-reassignment surgeries or abortions” against Franciscan Alliance, a Catholic hospital network of nearly 19,000 health care professionals, because doing so would be “in violation of its sincerely held religious beliefs.” How does that relate to Obamacare? The court explained, “In May 2016, HHS issued a rule interpreting [ACA] Section 1557’s prohibition of ‘discrimination on the basis of sex.’ It defined sex discrimination to include discrimination on the basis of ‘termination of pregnancy’ and ‘gender identity.’” In 2020, the Trump administration undid this absurd construction to realign the scope of the regulation to the clear meaning of language, but various court injunctions vacated the 2020 regulation. Remarks: This permanent injunction prevents the DHHS from forcing hospitals to do abortions or perform gender-reassignment surgeries. This is important for several reasons; one is that no person or faith organization should be forced to violate the conscience. There is an evil obsession by the Biden Administration and the Democrat party to advance abortion and same sex ideology. (Dr. Leon Threatt) 

The Lord is our King and He fights our battles! Throughout the history of Israel, we read of how awesome the Lord was in fighting for them. During the days of Samuel, the Philistines were a consistent irritant to the nation of Israel. Yet the Lord was Israel’s greatest ally and defense. “While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the Lord thundered with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the Israelites” (First Samuel 7:10 NIV). Shortly after this event, the elders of Israel came to Samuel to ask him to give them a king. They wanted a king so he would fight their battles and go out before them. These elders even said they wanted a king so they could be like the other nations. What? They had The King over them! “But when they said, ‘Give us a king to lead us,’ this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. And the Lord told him: ‘Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king” (First Samuel 8:6,7 NIV).

We must not make the same mistake that Israel made. We must remember that we have made a covenant with the Most High God. We must hold to the Truth that “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” (Psalm 33:12 NIV). Yes, we elect representatives in every level of government, but our King is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our defense, help, and hope. May we never put our confidence in the strength of human ability. “The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name” (Exodus 15:3 NIV). The victories and successes that have come about are so first and foremost by the grace, might and strong arm of the Lord. 

These many successes, victories and advancements are also in part by a huge number of hard working, diligent, and faithful patriots, leaders, and warriors battling in the trenches. I commend all of you who love humanity and this nation to continue speaking up and standing firm, because surrender is never an option. (Dr. Leon Threatt)

I believe it is so very important to our election and political process to locate and vet ethical, informed, and conservative candidates for public service. We must have men and women who are authentic servants and representatives of the people, and not a patsy for their political party or any special interest groups. 

Here on The Threatt Report, we attempt to identity candidates that may fit the needed bill for the new direction North Carolina and the nation needs to take. The American republic is a representative system of governing; therefore, the integrity of our elections is paramount. If we cannot ensure legal, proper, and reliable elections, our republic cannot and will not survive. 

The elections of 2020 clearly reveal we have significant widespread disparities throughout the nation. It is my belief that election fraud has been taking place for years, and many positions of government are occupied by unelected criminals. The investigating work conducted by Dinesh Dsouza and Mike Lindell clearly shows major and systemic fraud took place across the nation. 

It is the responsibility of each state legislator to ensure legal and proper elections are conducted in their state. This is not taking place effectively in every state. North Carolina is one of those failing states. In North Carolina, the Governor is responsible for the State Board of Election (https://www.ncsbe.gov/). What a failed concept. It’s common sense that elections should be overseen by a non-partisan group. Why has the North Carolina General Assembly done so little to ensure the integrity and security of our election process? Why was the North Carolina General Assembly unwilling to have a forensic audit done on the 2020 elections? There are a number of questions related to the political process and election integrity in North Carolina that needs to be resolved before the mid-terms and 2024 elections. 

(The Epoch Times, June 17, 2022): “Texas Republicans have passed a resolution stating that President Joe Biden was “not legitimately elected,” and that “substantial” election fraud in key metropolitan areas influenced the results of the 2020 presidential election in favor of Biden. “We believe that the 2020 election violated Article 1 and 2 of the US Constitution, that various secretaries of state illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in multiple ways, including by allowing ballots to be received after November 3, 2020,” states a resolution passed on June 18, the last day of a three-day biennial Texas Republican convention held in Houston, the Texas Tribune reported. “We believe that substantial election fraud in key metropolitan areas significantly affected the results in five key states in favor of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States.” https://www.theepochtimes.com/texas-gop-passes-resolution-declaring-biden-not-legitimately-elected_4543841.html

(Rasmussen Reports, July 07, 2022): “Many voters still believe cheating affected the 2020 presidential election, and a majority fear the upcoming midterm elections could be tainted by cheating. A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports and The National Pulse finds that 52% of Likely U.S. voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, including 36% who think it is Very Likely. Forty-three percent (43%) don’t believe it’s likely cheating affected the 2020 outcome, including 30% who say it’s Not At All Likely. These findings are similar to previous surveys in May and March. Fifty percent (50%) of voters think it is at least somewhat likely there will be widespread cheating that will affect the outcome of this fall’s congressional elections, including 24% who say it’s Very Likely. Remarks: At the center of much of the controversy and possible voter fraud is Ballot Harvesting and Drop Boxes. There are supposed to be strong guidelines and clear protocols to ensure the legality and integrity of the absentee ballots, but it appears that it has become an illegal means to steal elections. It appears that most of the questionable outcomes of political races came from questionable absentee ballots. It’s no wonder that the Democrat party and Mr. Biden wants to expand the use of them.

What are some common sense measures to minimize voter fraud and ensure fair and legal elections? Common Sense!

• Voter ID for all voters
• Return to Election Day voting
• Absentee voting to be rare and the exception
• Absentee voting regulations must include verification of ID, and two witnesses, and one not family
• Absentee ballots are turned into County Board of election office or mailed by registered mailed only
• States, by law, must keep their voting records current to the year
• No same day registering and voting

I have been intrigued recently by a television series titled “Disasters at Sea.” I found it fascinating to watch how and why huge seaworthy vessels can find themselves at the bottom of an ocean. One of the fascinating facts about most sea disasters is that it was not one single failure that sunk the ship but a series of many small failures or mistakes. And if any one of the many failures could have been interrupted, the disaster most likely could have been prevented. In most disasters at sea, one or all three causes occur. The cupbearer Nehemiah, who became the organizer and leader in rebuilding the wall in Jerusalem, gave a powerful charge to the people of his day, and I believe it can be taken to heart in our day. The nation of Judah revolted against Babylon who subsequently sieged and destroyed the city and wall in Jerusalem in 587 BC. Then in 444 BC, Nehemiah journeyed to Jerusalem and began the rebuilding process. On this week’s report, I wanted to give some attention to an organization that I believe has been working diligently to make a difference in Mecklenburg County. The Mecklenburg Black Republican Club (MBRC) with the leadership of Ms. Kim Marshall put together a powerful meeting in Charlotte on the 20th of June in celebration of the Juneteenth holiday. 

According to the MBRC website, their goal is to encourage and increase the number of Black Americans with conservative values to vote Republican.

The many problems and challenges facing Mecklenburg County is far beyond black, white, brown, or red. The ills seen in the county far exceed the lines of Democrats, Republicans, or Independence. Most, if not all, is choice between foolishness and common sense, or righteousness and unrighteousness. I believe possessing a biblical worldview and living life accordingly is central to measurable positive change. After such, voting and electing those with genuine conservative values and principles can help lead Mecklenburg County forward.

The MBRC hosted this event on the 20th and I was profoundly impressed and greatly encouraged. There were a number of notable speakers, all with inspiring words of encouragement. I am sure there were an army of people working behind the scenes laboring together to make that event such a huge success, and to them all I say, job well done.

If and when life knocks you down, fall forward, get up and keep moving. “For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity” (Proverbs 24:16 NKJV).

Refuse to quit or faint on anything of worth or value. “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Galatians 6:9 NKJV).  

No matter what we face in life, as faithful followers of Jesus Christ, we have been given the victory. “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:37 NKJV).

The importance of the outcome of elections have become profoundly clear in the last several election cycles. The way and quality of life can be turned by one election. The morals, values, and worldview of a people are often witnessed by the ones they elect. Our nation and many states are feeling the pains of one or two election cycles gone bad. Perhaps not bad for those who are seeking power and control, but certainly horrific for those families working from paycheck to paycheck. Troublesome times for those ones who must make a choice between petroleum in the vehicle or food on the table. It’s deeply disturbing to witness how the Deep State, Far Left, or Wayward Wicked have figured out how to manipulate our election process, but that is what I believe is taking place. 

Those with a Biblical Worldview must discover how to reclaim the spiritual, moral, economic, educational, and political high ground. If we fail to do so immediately, we may never regain them. If we don’t recapture them now, we will surely become one of the many nations that have experienced greatness and then collapsed and crumbled from within.  

Every election has value and significance. I believe we have a civic responsibility to vote. As followers of Christ Jesus, I believe we are graced and mandated to voice and vote His Word and Will through the election process. There may be times when the wicked finds a way to steal our vote or even fraudulently capture a political seat, but we must show up and vote anyway. On Tuesday, 21 June, during our weekly Stand call, U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) shared that many citizens accused of insurrection or crimes related to activities from 6 January 2021 are being held without bond and confined in deployable living condition in the Washington DC jail. 

According to Congresswomen Taylor Green, many citizens have been jailed for many months without due process of the law, denied legal representation, with limited or no family visitation. She also informed the listeners that a huge number of the detainees are held in solitary confinement because they have not been COVID-19 vaccinated. This kind of unconstitutional confinement is heard of from other nations like China or Iran, but not here in America. How is this possible in the nation that has championed liberty and freedom to the nations of the world? 

What is the real intent behind these so-called January 6th Congressional hearings? I believe they are about political posturing and discrediting President Trump.

(The January 6 Insurrection Hoax, September 2021): “Notwithstanding all the hysterical rhetoric surrounding the events of January 6, 2021, two critical things stand out. The first is that what happened was much more hoax than insurrection. In fact, in my judgment, it wasn’t an insurrection at all. An “insurrection,” as the dictionary will tell you, is a violent uprising against a government or other established authority. Unlike the violent riots that swept the country in the summer of 2020—riots that caused some $2 billion in property damage and claimed more than 20 lives—the January 6 protest at the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. lasted a few hours, caused minimal damage, and the only person directly killed was an unarmed female Trump supporter who was shot by a Capitol Police officer. It was, as Tucker Carlson said shortly after the event, a political protest that “got out of hand.”

At the rally preceding the events in question, Donald Trump had suggested that people march to the Capitol “peacefully and patriotically”—these were his exact words—in order to make their voices heard. He did not incite a riot; he stirred up a crowd. Was that, given the circumstances, imprudent? Probably. Was it an effort to overthrow the government? According to Genesis 1:27, God made them male and female, and nothing in between. This idea that we choose our gender is a direct assault against Divine Truth and the sovereign rule of the Creator. This belief that we choose or change our gender is a frail attempt to replace God by arrogantly defying His plan for us. We are male and female beyond our physical expressions but are male or female from the core of our souls. Our God ordained gender is an essential means to serve the Lord and His plan for our lives. I believe that our true identity will go on with us into eternity. Just as the Lord created all the unique and beautiful ethnicities, He also created us male and female for His own good pleasure. 

This entire transgender movement is a dark and sinister plan to replace God and His will for His creation. Its roots are centered in Marxism and its works are a twisted sexual perversion. This crusade is not about equal rights for the oppressed but indoctrination of an ungodly behavior. Most of this transgender movement is sexually charged. What’s most disturbing is that the vast majority of this ideology is targeting young children. This sorted and twisted belief will never end. This entire Sexual Orientation Gender Identity (SOGI) movement is depraved and dark, with no boundaries in sight. In past seasons, we were battling to keep boys out of girl’s restrooms. Now we are fighting to keep Drag Queens from stripping before our kindergarteners. Sin is depraved and regressive. We who hold to a Biblical worldview must defend what is sacred and precious to us. Stand against the evil darkness! Refuse to sit silently by while evil captures our culture and our children. “Not on my watch!” 

What children and youth need to hear is that God loves them and that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, just the way they are. They are not a mistake and God Almighty has a wonderful plan and purpose for their life, and in Jesus Christ that plan can be discovered and fulfilled. (Dr. Leon Threatt)

According to Mat Staver, Liberty Counsel (alert@libertyaction.org), here is some of what’s in HR 7910, the misnamed Protecting Our Kids Act, which has already passed the House: 

• Increases the age requirement to purchase certain guns to 21. This means someone can join the military and die for our nation or get married and have children but cannot own certain guns.
• Requires registration to transfer a gun to a family member.
• Mandates all firearms be traceable and expands the prohibition on “ghost guns,” which are firearms built from purchased parts.
• Provides 750 million dollars over the next five years to incentivize states to pass Red Flag laws, which don’t work and often have little due process protections.
• Those convicted of a non-spousal “domestic” misdemeanor (far less than a felony) will lose their Second Amendment rights for a minimum of three years.

Remarks: There may be some commonsense changes needed to protect families from the growing gun violence, however this attempt by the Democrats is not it. We have seen repeatedly the left attempting to capitalize on the growing violence around us with more and more restrictions against our Second Amendment. The Second Amendment is not in place for the right to bear arms to kill deer and bear, but to defend ourselves, families and communities against violence and tyrannical government. Yes, the founding leaders of this Republic put in place the right of the citizens to defend themselves against violence and tyranny of government. I pray we never come to that, but that right is written in the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Violence and yes, gun violence, is a matter of the heart. People kill, not guns. Charlotte Mayor and Charlotte City Council election: The voters of Charlotte will return to the polls on 26 July 2022 for their general election. Early voting for these races will be 7-23 July 2022. The winners of these races for mayoral and city council will take office 6 September 2022.

• Removal of Roe v. Wade: On Friday, 24 June 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade: After 49 years and over 62 million children terminated. 
• Voter ID in NC: On Thursday, June 23 at 4:33 p.m., the Supreme Court ruled that two Republican legislators in North Carolina can join a lawsuit to defend the constitutionality of the state’s voter-identification law. • Dick's Sporting Goods is reimbursing employees $4,000 in travel expenses.
• Amazon will also provide $4,000 for travel expenses outside of 100 miles of an employee's home.
• Starbucks will reimburse all abortion travel expenses not available within 100 miles
• Yelp will pay for travel costs
• Microsoft will reimburse employees for travel expenses related to an abortion
• Apple will cover all travel expenses
• Netflix will pay up to $10,000 for travel reimbursement for abortions
• Tesla pays for travel and lodging for employees who get an abortion outside their home state.

Take courage, be strong, and refuse to faint. We have seen some significant victories in the last week, but the war still rages. The Lord spoke to young Joshua as he was soon to lead the nation of Israel into the promise land. We have a responsibility to protect and defend the innocent. We have been charged by holy writ to do all we can to defend and protect the fatherless and the widow. “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. 18 Major Airlines, FAA, and DOT to Be Sued Over COVID Vaccine Mandates— First lawsuit against Atlas Air has been filed (The Epoch Times, May 25, 2022): “John Pierce Law has filed a lawsuit against Atlas Air, on behalf of US Freedom Flyers (USFF) and Atlas employees, and plans to sue all major airlines, 18 altogether, plus the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Department of Transportation (DOT), contending that the vaccine mandates imposed by these agencies on the airlines’ employees infringed on their constitutional, religious, and medical liberties. Remarks: I have absolutely no confidence in the World Health Organization or Mr. Bill Gates to protect the world or America from Monkeypox or any other outbreak. Gates and WHO have shown their desire and quest for global dominance. The America people must remain vigilant and refuse to relinquish our national sovereignty to WHO or any other globalist takeover. State Farm Bales on Full Apology (Family Research Council, May 26, 2022): “To no one's surprise but theirs, Americans didn't respond too kindly when the insurance company was caught dishing out transgender books to five-year-old kids. Angry customers started ringing agents' phones off the hook, asking what the devil they were doing wading into the LGBT debate. Headquarters blinked. The most important decision a person can make in life is a decision to accept or reject Jesus Christ. All of eternity hangs on that one decision. We all have some family members and loved ones that may not have fully surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. Time is so very important. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (St. John 14:6 NIV).

The Bible is so very clear about God’s heart towards innocent human life. “Anyone who takes the life of a human being is to be put to death” (Leviticus 24:17 NIV). The God of the Old Covenant is the same Almighty God of the New Covenant. The heart, nature and will of the Father has never changed. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8 KJV). Because of the cross of Jesus Christ, the Father’s response is uniquely different. Through the finished work of Jesus Christ, we are extended grace and mercy, yet the wages of sin and disobedience is the same. The day one sins they are worthy of death. Click here to read more.

We must pray for America, the family, the church, and for the hearts of broken lives. What are the answers for our nation? Are the answers found in more police, more laws, more gun restrictions, and more mental health funding? 

What is clear and absolutely certain is that America desperately needs God’s divine intervention. We cannot restore and reclaim America without His aide and care. We must have an awakening of His love and eternal truth to recenter our lives and our nation. (Dr. Leon Threatt)

I believe the Lord Jesus will return in our lifetime. I also believe He has a sure and compassionate plan for you and me in this hour. He has a reason for His delay in His return. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise (of His Return), as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”(Second Peter 3:9 KJV). Jesus has not returned in part because He is unwilling to see any perish. He is giving as many as are willing to come to Him before a season of Tribulation comes upon the earth. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your longsuffering heart for lost humanity. May we be good steward of the time we have been graced with, and may we too not be willing that any would perish. 

Abortion kills children, harms women, and destroys families! Abortion is the leading cause of death of humans globally! Abortion is racism at its highest! Forty-three percent of all abortions in America are done on the black families, with blacks making up only about twelve percent of the nation’s population. Over seventy-five percent of all Planned Parenthood facilities are in predominate black communities. Abortion kills more black children than the top seven leading causes of death combined. 

How has this murderous work continued in the land of the free and the home of the brave? How is it possible that we have permitted nearly 70 million children killed in the last forty-nine years? Why would the Christian community and the morally sane sit quietly by while genocide and now infanticide take place on our watch? How is it possible we who claim to know the God of the Bible would allow in our generation the bodily remains of torn children to be sold and marketed as cattle? Click here to read more.

This week a murderous demonically inspired eighteen-year-old entered an elementary school and viciously killed 19 children and 2 adults. Robb Elementary School of Uvalde, Texas and much of the nation have been traumatized by the heartless brutality this evil deranged madman has done. 

What is happening in the hearts and minds of the human soul that such an evil could take place in our midst? I am heartbroken, angry, frustrated, and determined all at the same time. My heart pains for what those children went through and what their families are experiencing today. I’m outraged at the evil that can be displayed from one demonized soul. I, like many, are frustrated that we have seen this evil carnage against innocent children too many times. I am more determined to engage and help cast out this depraved darkness that have been unleashed upon our nation. I am more determined to preach and teach the good news of Jesus Christ like never before. The gospel that makes it so clear that, “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (St. John 3:16 NKJV). Yes, this gospel that I preach and purpose to live is also found in a God given love for all others. “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
