 Our Constitutional Republic greatly depends upon the integrity of the people’s vote. Who we vote for truly matters to our current and future way of life! “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2 KJV). On this week’s Threatt Report, we have Pastor Dan Fisher as our special guest. He shares some insights from his book titled “Bringing Back the Black Robed Regiment.” Pastor Fisher shares a little of his heart for the church and the clergy of the 21st century.  

Pastor Fisher stated that occasionally he will hear from pastors and clergy that they don’t discuss politics from the pulpit, but just preach the Gospel. His response, “If we agree that the most important thing is the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then surely we must also agree that the second most important thing is the preservation of the freedom to do the most important thing.”

I was disheartened one day when I heard Holy Spirit clearly tell me He was going to teach me about government. This was a time in my life that I still had a distaste for government and knew very little about it. I could not have cared less about the process. My first thought was, “How boring! What have I done to deserve this punishment?”

God’s next statement set me on my heels, “Because I AM government,” He said. He then quoted Isaiah 33:22 to me, “For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; He will save us.” I was so glad I didn’t tell God what I was thinking - in my mind I had just called Him boring!!!

“Then God blessed the, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:28 NKJV).  

During my years as a Law Enforcement officer in the 1980’s and 1990’s, sodomy was listed as a criminal offense and the National Institute of Mental Health identified homosexuality as a form of mental illness. The laws issued by state legislators and the mental health agencies of the medical community may change and vary at the will of the masses, but the eternal Truth of God can never change. “For I am the Lord, I change not;…” (Malachi 3:6 KJV). According to Romans 1:32 (NIV), “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” Judgment comes to those who commit such sins, but judgment also comes to them that take pleasure and approve of those who practice them. Many professing Christians are silently complicit or openly endorsing the wayward behavior of the LBGTQ, when the scriptures clearly say we should do otherwise. God alone affirms what is sin and what is not, and all sin is under judgment. It is not love to keep silent when you see your neighbors traveling a path that you strongly believe will gravely harm them. Remarks: I have enjoyed the work of Dinesh D’Souza in the past and look forward to seeing this new film. The U.S. annual inflation rate surged to 8.5 percent in February, hitting a new 40-year high. The US national debt tops $30 Trillion for the first time in history, and the US dollar continues to devalue through inflation. The impact of debt ceiling uncertainty on private retirement savings could be catastrophic this fall.

Remarks: Mounting inflation, the devaluing of the dollar, and the continued mounting national debt is directly linked to failed leftist democrat party policy. During the Trump Administration, inflation was nearly nonexistent and the dollar was holding its own. We must remember that as we approach the midterm elections. (Dr. Leon Threatt) 

‘What I’ve Seen in the Last Two Years Is Unprecedented’: Physician on COVID Vaccine Side Effects on Pregnant Women (The Epoch Times, April 27, 2022): "Dr. James Thorp is an extensively published 68-year-old physician MD board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as maternal-fetal medicine, who has practiced obstetrics for over 42 years. Thorp told The Epoch Times that he sees 6,000–7,000 high-risk pregnant patients a year and has seen many complications among them due to the COVID vaccines. “I’ve seen many, many, many complications in pregnant women, in moms and in fetuses, in children, offspring,” Thorp said, “fetal death, miscarriage, death of the fetus inside the mom. “What I’ve seen in the last two years is unprecedented,” Thorp asserted.” https://www.theepochtimes.com/what-ive-seen-in-the-last-two-years-is-unprecedented-physician-on-covid-vaccine-side-effects-on-pregnant-women_4428291.html

Remarks: There has not been enough confirmed study on vaccinated pregnant women to give the green light for its safety. The long-term effects of the COVID vaccines upon children in the womb is untested and can become problematic. Pregnant women and families need to think clearly about the safety and well being of their child before getting the vaccination. There is more than enough evidence to warrant caution. As a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, remember that you are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are to shine forth His glorious light in and to this dark world. “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV). It’s time to shine! 

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (St. John 3:16 NKJV). Almighty God has made provisions for every human soul through His Son Jesus Christ. The grip of sin, sickness, bondage, and brokenness has been defeated through the finished work of Jesus Christ. 

I purpose to walk in this same kind of love for all of humanity. My hearts desire as a pastor and teacher of the Holy Scriptures is to see lives saved from sin and transformed by the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Sin separates us from God and brings heartache to the human soul. Sin is the transgression of the law, will, and word of God. God alone has determined what is sin and what is not sin. The laws of man or an earthly jurisdiction vary and change according to the values and wants of the people, but the laws and truths of God changes not. What is sin will always be sin before Him. Sin and disobedience to God’s Word has already been judged and the judgment of God upon all sin is eternal death. “…in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:17 NKJV); “Then the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die” (Genesis 3:4 NKJV). Florida Senate Passes Bill Revoking Disney’s Special Self-Governing Power (The Epoch Times, April 20, 2022): “The Florida Senate passed legislation on April 20 that would remove the special tax district and self-governing status that was granted to Disney as lawmakers have criticized the company for opposing a parental rights bill.” https://www.theepochtimes.com/florida-senate-passes-bill-revoking-disney-of-special-self-governing-power_4416544.html

Remarks: I think the Florida Senate has made some important and historic moves on the behalf of the citizens of Florida. The Disney Corporation and many other corporations have become activist of the far left and this current woke culture. I believe that the vast majority of the commonsense thinkers across America support “Florida’s HB 1557” which limits public schools from teaching kindergarteners to third grade on sex and sexual behavior. I hope and pray we will see more and more State Legislators pass such legislation. 

I have communicated in the past that I do not think its good politics nor sound governance to give financial favors and tax incentives to big corporations. States and local municipalities should not be in the business of picking corporate winners and losers.

Federal Judge Strikes Down CDC Mask Mandate for Planes, Travel (The Epoch Times, April 18, 2022): “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) mask mandate for airplanes and other forms of public transportation was struck down on April 18 by a federal judge. U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle said the CDC rule exceeded the agency’s statutory authority because its implementation violated administrative law. Mizelle, a Trump appointee based in Florida, directed the agency to reverse the policy nationwide in response to a lawsuit filed by the Health Freedom Defense Fund. We are engaged in an intense battle for our families, communities, and nation. Though the war, conflict, and confrontations are real and has eternal implications, they are not against people or groups. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12 NKJV). Knowing your enemy is vitally important to effective warfare! We must dismantle the lies, the deception, and the ideology of this dark evil world system. When we fight the right fight and against the defeated foes of this age, we will surely walk in the victory. Refuse to waste your time and energy warring and fighting against people; target the real enemy of our soul and victory is sure! “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (First John 4:4 NKJV).

Racial and ethnic discrimination is morally and biblically wrong. “I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality” (First Timothy 5:21 NKJV). If this is morally and socially true, then it’s true all the time for everyone. We are to relate, identify and judge people by higher qualities than their ethnic identity. The late Rev. Dr. Martin L. King Jr. is quoted saying that he dreamed of a day when we would all be judged by the content of our character and not by the color of our skin. 

I believe we all must continue to strive forward for a season and time in history as that. We must aim at seeing people as people above the physical ethnicity they may or may not identify with. “Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (Second Corinthians 5:16,17 NKJV).

Again, I state if this is right and true for any, it is right and true for all. I recall hearing Mr. Steven Harvey make the statement that the reason he supported Mr. Obama for President was because he was black. Remarks: The Russian invasion of Ukraine continues to greatly trouble us all. This week’s report of the murdering of Ukrainian civilian citizens is deeply disturbing. Those images of bodies lying in the streets should provoke us all to prayer and action. There is so much conflicting information about the reason or legitimacy of the invasion, but what cannot be disputed is that innocent lives are being taken and families are being displaced. 

Elections in America has consequences around the globe. The fraudulent unseating of President Trump has made the world a much dangerous place. The weak or absent leadership from Mr. Biden has given way to increase terrorism in the Middle East and have given the green light to Russia to invade Ukraine. My hope and prayer is that the American people will wake up from the dark deception produced by the Deep State and extreme left. It’s time to end the madness! (Dr. Leon Threatt)

There is no greater cause or issue before the Church of Jesus Christ than the defending of the innocent pre-born.

Remarks: The defending of the innocent preborn is the most urgent moral and human rights issue in our lifetime. Please continue to pray and engage the culture and public policy to shift into a pro-life culture. The U.S. Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a case that is believed to strike down Roe v. Wade. It’s also vitally important that we help educate and change the hearts of women and mothers. Mothers are the ones getting abortions, not judges and politicians. We must not abandon the message of virginity, purity, and marriage. Remarks: The growing persecution of Christians globally has consistently grown. Much of this hellish assault against Believers are coming from radical Muslim. The American people has been fighting governmental overreach related to COVID-19, the increase threat of Communist China, and the failed policies of the Biden administration; it appears we may have forgotten the growing threat of Radical Islam. Yes, this dangerous growing threat kills Christians abroad, but it’s also working stealthily here at home. I highly recommend that every Christian take the time to read the book by William Federer titled, “What Every American Needs to Know About the Quran.” It’s an eye-opening read. STOP MANDATORY COVID INJECTIONS, VACCINE PASSPORTS, AND TRACKING APPS!

Liberty Counsel Reports: “SMART health cards” have already been deployed in dozens of states across the country. Vaccine Credential Initiative (VCI), the group behind the SMART health cards, intends to fully participate with the WHO program. WHO officials did not give a release date, only commenting that news would be released “soon.” Already, 20 states have adopted the SMART health cards, and even some red-leaning states like Arizona, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Utah are considering or developing digital health passports. Even South Carolina, whose governor signed legislation barring state entities from developing or issuing Vaccine Passports, will be issuing SMART health cards by the end of the month, according to the state’s immunization director, Steven White. Twenty-five states plus the District of Columbia have developed or are developing Vaccine Passports or SMART cards, which includes five red states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, KY, LA, MA, MD, MN, MS, NM, NJ, NY, NV, OK, OR, RI, SC, UT, VA, WA. Remarks: We are genuinely committed to educating the public on the dangers and concerns related to the vaccines and the threat forced vaccination and vaccine passports pose to our liberties and freedoms. Election Watchdog Finds 137,500 Ballots Unlawfully Trafficked in Wisconsin (The Epoch Times, March 29, 2022): “At least 137,500 absentee ballots were cast through unlawful vote trafficking throughout several of Wisconsin’s largest cities in the 2020 election, according to research presented last week to the state Assembly’s Committee on Campaigns and Elections by the public interest organization True the Vote (TTV). Ballot trafficking is an activity in which absentee ballots and votes are solicited, sometimes in exchange for money or other valuables. Remarks: There was overwhelming evidence that voter fraud took place in the 2020 election. I truly believe that this pattern of ballot harvesting changed the outcome of our presidential election, and a number of governor races as well. I don’t believe Mr. Cooper is the legitimately elected Governor of North Carolina. Elections at every level has grave consequences. I heard someone say this week that over 25 million professing Christians did not vote in the 2020 election. If we refuse to vote, we give the godless wicked two votes—theirs and ours. Wake Up! I love reading the story of Joseph. God worked His plan in Joseph’s life for His own Glory and His eternal plan. In that plan, God blessed and preserved Egypt and Canaan. “When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, ‘What if Joseph holds a grudge against us and pays us back for all the wrongs we did to him?’…But Joseph said to them, ‘Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid, I will provide for you and your children.’ And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them” (Genesis 50:15-21 NIV). 

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28 NKJV). 

In this season, we must find our rest and hope in Christ alone, trusting Him to work all things out for His own glory and our good. The word is clear that in the last days perilous days will come, but even in such a time everything is to serve His eternal purpose. I trust Him and His perfect will to be accomplished in my life, and from that I have a rest and peace in my soul. 

It’s time to take our nation back from the evil communist left. This nation was formed for a free people who have their rights and freedoms graced by Almighty God.

We, the people of this Republic, have been under sieged by wicked forces. In the last twenty-four months, we have faced assault upon our freedoms by several forces; all appear to be the work of the Anti-Christ.

America does not belong to our elected officials, nor the CDC, FDA, nor the FAA! I was on a few air flights in the last couple of weeks and I have had my fill of being told and bullied by so-called authorities. Enough with the mask, mandates, and forced compliance.

(CBN News, March 8, 2022): ACLJ Warns Proposed Maryland Senate Bill 'Could Legalize Infanticide Up to 28 Days After Birth'

“In preparation for a possible U.S. Supreme Court ruling that could overturn Roe v. Wade this summer, Maryland is the latest state trying to enshrine abortion access into its state constitution.

Two bills before the state legislature aim to do just that. House Bill 1171 titled "Declaration of Rights – Right to Reproductive Liberty" is a proposed amendment to the Maryland Constitution that would "establish that every person, as a central component of the individual's rights to liberty and equality, has the fundamental right to reproductive liberty; prohibiting the State from directly or indirectly denying, burdening, or abridging the right unless justified by a compelling State interest achieved by the least restrictive means."

If passed by the legislature, Marylanders would vote on the proposed amendment in the general election this November. The other bill is called Senate Bill 669, or the "Pregnant Person's Freedom Act of 2022".

“The Maryland legislative session is in full swing, and once again, abortion advocates are pushing their radical abortion agenda. Recently, we told you about the testimony we presented against Maryland House Bill 1171, which is attempting to codify Roe v. Wade in the Maryland constitution. Now, we’re preparing to submit testimony on Maryland Senate Bill 669 – also known as the Pregnant Person’s Freedom Act of 2022. At first glance, this bill looks like it simply changes the word “woman” to “pregnant person,” and then prevents a “pregnant person” from being investigated or penalized for “terminating or attempting to terminate” her own pregnancy. Remarks: I heard Mr. Everett Piper on the weekly Stand call on Tuesday. The words “the cult of COVID” really got my attention. On March 27, 2020, the Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary declared that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use (EUA) of drugs and biological products for COVID-19. That means people must be told the risks and benefits, and they have the right to decline a medication that is not fully licensed. (Liberty Counsel, January 31, 2022): “On January 24th, a group of doctors testified in a five-hour congressional roundtable hosted by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI). Late last year, these doctors noticed something very strange. Drs. Samuel Sigoloff, Peter Chambers and Theresa Long—all military doctors—found “extremely unusual” ailments since the vaccine rollouts. These doctors first noticed a dramatic increase in neurological issues, then they noticed they were treating far more miscarriages than normal. They also observed a drastic increase in heart attacks. When asked why she came to Ottawa, the woman explained that she also sought freedom from a tyrannical government. "We stand behind them. We come from communist country and we came here because we didn't want to have oppression," she explained. "We wanted to live in a free country. For the last two years, we are living like prisoners. We are being told to stay at home, not to go to the restaurant, not to go to the church. I mean this is unbelievable." She continued, "During communism times, we were able and free to go to the church and there were times over here when we couldn't. Remarks: Thanks to those courageous truckers pushing back in Canada. Their bold position has inspired many Americans to take a stand as well. (NC Family, February 8, 2022): “The North Carolina Supreme Court has concluded that the state’s new legislative and congressional district maps violate the State Constitution, and ordered that they must be redrawn. The maps, which were drawn and passed along party lines late last year by the North Carolina General Assembly, were rejected by the 4-3 Democratic majority on the state’s high court Friday. Lawmakers have until February 18 to submit new maps for consideration. As NC Family has shared, the new district maps immediately faced legal challenges after passing the GOP-led General Assembly in November 2021. A three-judge panel ruled in early January that the maps were constitutional, but the case was appealed to the NC Supreme Court. The Court’s Democratic majority rejected the district maps claiming that the North Carolina Constitution does not allow the General Assembly to “diminish or dilute any individual’s vote on the basis of partisan affiliation.”

Remarks: I read a report this week that revealed that challenging the state and congressional maps in court is a part of the strategy of the liberal left. Their goal is to attempt to win as many state and federal districts through the courts as possible. Remarks: Our public and private schools must never become indoctrination centers for the lying, progressive, demonic, liberal left. Sad to say, many public school systems are leaning that way. Parents and school boards must set a clear standard of morality and purity and demand that the schools remain within those boundaries. Missouri, the Court lifted the stay the lower court injunctions issued against the Medicare and Medicaid mandate issued by the Secretary of Health and Human Services at federally funded health care facilities. In other words, the Court allowed the Medicare and Medicaid mandates to go into effect pending the ongoing litigation and any future petition for cert that may be filed. Justices Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch and Barrett dissented in the opinion.

Remarks: We have reported and stated in past programs that the CDC admits that its reported numbers were lower than what is actually shown. It has been reported by other sources that the VAERS records only about 1% of the actual numbers of deaths and injuries. If the actual numbers of vaccination death are four hundred thousand or more than the American people should be outraged and demand an accounting from the CDC, pharmaceutical companies, and elected officials. 4,000 Pastors Unite Against Canada’s New LGBTQ Conversion Therapy Law, Warn It Will ‘Criminalize Christianity’ (CBN News, January 19, 2022): “Thousands of pastors across North America have reportedly come together to protest Bill C-4, a Canadian law that took effect Jan. 8 after reportedly being pushed through Parliament with little debate. The claim is that Bill C-4 is broadly worded and could, in effect, ban biblical teachings on sexual ethics, and impact even personal communications on the subject. Preachers are protesting the law at the pulpit, with 4,000 pastors affirming their opposition as well as willingness to speak out against it, Fox News reported. John MacArthur of Grace Community Church in Los Angeles is among the pastors who have been vocal on the issue. He recently warned that such crackdowns will likely ramp up, especially as Christians refuse to cave.

“Ultimately, the dissenters, the ones who will not cave in, are going to be those who are faithful to the Bible. Planned Parenthood Holds Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that kicked open the doors for abortion on demand in the United States. And according to Planned Parenthood, the right to take the lives of innocent unborn babies is a cause for celebration. Planned Parenthood will be holding multiple events this year to commemorate the dark anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Of course they’re not referring to it as such. After all, Roe enabled abortion providers like Planned Parenthood to grow and amass fortunes in the process, all while also collecting a fortune in taxpayer funding. It’s hard for rational people to fathom. And yet, here we are, 49 years later.

Mississippi recently filed its opening brief in the case, and the ACLJ has filed three amicus (friend-of-the-court) briefs on behalf of itself, the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ), and the Elliot Institute, a pro-life medical research organization. Remarks: I met Lisa Jillani in 2016 when I was running for U.S. Congress, and she shared much of this information. I had heard years before that vaccines could have been a major contributor to the growing rate of autism, but Lisa’s experience helped confirm my suspicions. I read a report just a few months ago that the CDC withheld from the public a thorough report confirming that vaccines were causing autism in black boys. I was horrified by that. They knowingly hid and suppressed important information that may have saved the lives and prevented the injuries of countless children. NC can go ahead with political maps, court rules in win for GOP ahead of 2022 midterms (The News & Observer, January 12, 2022): “North Carolina’s new political districts do not violate the state constitution, a panel of three judges ruled unanimously Tuesday. The GOP-drawn maps would give Republicans a built-in advantage in future elections — but none of the reasons why challengers said the maps are unconstitutional stand up to legal scrutiny, the judges ruled. In other words, politicians may use the redistricting process to give their party an edge. Remarks: North Carolina must ensure voting integrity. The events that took place across the nation in 2020 must never happen again. Supreme Court Hears Shot Mandate Cases: "After receiving emergency requests in two COVID-19 shot mandate cases, the U.S. Supreme Court heard the oral arguments in a special session last Friday. The cases cover two federal policies: a shot-or-test mandate for workers at businesses with over 100 employees and a shot mandate for health care workers at facilities that receive Medicare or Medicaid funding."

Mat Staver, Liberty Counsel wrote: “Just last month, videos were leaked from COVID detainment camps in Australia. Citizens down under are being held against their will in “isolation camps” even if they do not test positive for COVID.

To be kept in one of these detention centers, Australian citizens need only to have been in the vicinity of someone who tested positive to be detained for a minimum of 14 days. Citizens are detained in tiny shacks surrounded by barbed wire and guards. And as we saw in the video, the simple act of angering a guard or speaking to another detainee is enough to have a person “indefinitely” detained within the rows and rows of dismal shacks. New Canadian Law Will Officially Describe Parts Of The Bible As 'Myth': “With the passage of Bill C-4 (the "conversion therapy" ban), there is a great deal of concern among Canadian churches. Has the Trudeau government put a law on the books that effectively criminalizes Christianity? According to some prominent clergy in this country, the answer is, shockingly, yes.

In a letter published by Liberty Coalition Canada, a group of Evangelical pastors comments: "This bill's wording is sufficiently broad to allow for the criminal prosecution of Christians who would speak biblical truth into the lives of those in bondage to sexual sins like homosexuality and transgenderism... Even a mother or father who offers their children freedom from sexual sin through repentance and faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 6:9-11) could be threatened with five years in jail." The letter continues with a rebuke of Members of Parliament, who unanimously rushed Bill C-4 through the House of Commons last month without any debate or public input: 

According to Bill C-4, which goes into force on January 8th, the Bible's teaching on sexuality and gender is defined as a "myth" under Canadian Law. The promotion and sharing of this biblical teaching will be a jailable offence that officially "causes harm to society"."

Remarks: The decision of the Canadian Parliament to pass such a wicked piece of legislation is shameful and blasphemous. To state that some parts of the Holy Scriptures are to be labeled as “myth” is wickedness at the highest. What we are witnessing in Canada will soon be on the frontlines of main street America. The church of the Living God has been charged with proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and His kingdom. We are also commissioned to make disciples of all nations. In addition to those, I can think of no more urgent endeavor than to protect, defend, and save the lives of the innocent preborn. We must use all measures possible to end this wicked genocide. Innocent human lives are being sold and marketed as commodities. Remarks: The entire American educational system is in crisis. We are now and will continue to experience the painful failures of years of a leftist, socialist, godless education. The only way to turn education around in America is through alternatives to public education. We will need to support more home school programs and private Christian schools. In some states, Charter schools are a great alternative to regular public school. I would also recommend that no parent should ever send their children to any secular government university.
